I decided to take a short break for a couple of weeks after sending out the 50th edition earlier this month.

I wanted to take a breather and utilize this time for a little reflection on our journey together so far and how I want to continue so that I can keep bringing useful reads to you.

And as they say, music and magic happens between the gaps, taking a step back has provided me the much needed clarity to continue on this path and bring new topics and unique perspectives on all things modern marketing to you.

So today, we're diving headfirst into a topic that’s been generating a lot of buzz in the marketing world and none of us has been unaffected by it : AI-driven marketing.

We all know that artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how we operate, but the real challenge lies in maintaining that human touch as our strategies become increasingly automated.

So, how do we strike the perfect balance? Let’s explore.

Prologue : The Human Element in an AI World

Imagine you walk into your favorite coffee shop, the one you’ve visited for years. The barista, a friendly face you’ve come to know, greets you with a warm smile and says, “The usual?” You nod, appreciating how they remember your preferences—a double-shot cappuccino with a dash of cinnamon.

But what if, one day, you walk in, and instead of your familiar barista, a sleek, shiny robot greets you? The robot is efficient, knows your order, even predicts you might want a muffin today because it’s been a tough week. But something feels off.
